Van 93-95 maakte ik zg.”green-art” ,waarbij ik i.p.v. een
apart palet te gebruiken,t palet direct op t doek zette,
en tevens (op t einde v.d. dag ) mijn penselen op schoonmaakte.
Hierdoor wordt er geen verf weggegooid,en komt alle verf
uiteindelijk op t doek terecht.
Het palet staat voor de grondstof, de geschilderde
afbeelding voor t product, en de “’penselen schoonmaken ‘”
voor t afval…als metafoor voor het productieproces. Tevens krijg je een interessante relatie
tusen abstractie en realisme ;
t geklieder v.h. palet en penselen-schoonmaken ziet er
abstract uit,maar dit is juist t meest realistische
gedeelte (want t verbeeld niks ,behalve zichzelf),terwijl de
geschilderde afbeelding slechts een illusie is
(van wat anders dan zichzelf-nml. Verf).Op t begin heb ik
deze 3 delen gescheiden naast elkaar gezet,
en later ben ik deze gaan manipuleren in relatie tot de
afbeelding.
